Quase Todo Dia 17min
'Quase Todo Dia' blurs the lines between documentary and
fiction as it depicts a day in the life of a mother-daughter
team. Polly Marinho and Agatha Marinho are mother and
daughter on screen, and in real life. Polly was only 18 when
she gave birth to Agatha and now, residing in the faraway
neighborhood of Recreio dos Bandeirantes, life is no joke.
On a strange winter day we accompany them on their long
journey from home to downtown Rio de Janeiro, aboard one
city bus after another. The people she needs most give her
the run around as Polly struggles against time, traffic, the
temptations of big city life and her own inadequacies as a
young mother.
