Nazir Ali Khan is a 45-year-old professor at the University of
Birmingham whose greatest love in life is his 17-year old-
daughter Saira.

A patriarch devoted to his family, Nazir has always made
decisions pertaining to the lives of each of his family
members. Now that his daughter is about to finish school,
Nazir considers it his responsibility to figure out her future. A
vibrant teenager, 17-year-old Saira has great ambitions for
herself. She’s sure her father will support everything she
does.

Nazir and Saira seem, however, to be on different paths.
Nazir and Saira discover how different they are from each
other and this heartbreaking discovery, leads to a sense of
betrayal and ultimate tragedy.
